What does India want? Maximum case Kashmir, but for that to happen the World must end. In reality, Pakistan defanged and the Chinese noose that has been tightening around India rolled back.

That means China out of the Indian Ocean, meaning out of Gwadar Sri Lanka and Djibouti. That aligns with the interests of almost everyone not a client of Russia and China. It even serves the interests of those in the Third World caught in the web of China's predatory Colonialist Imperialist Belt & Road debt peonage trap.

Iran has acted more than foolishly. They have acted as insanely and ignorantly as an American college student reciting narratives with no knowledge of history. By indiscriminately attacking with potentially deadly force Merchants making innocent passage they have put themselves in exactly the position of the Germans whose Unrestricted submarine warfare combined with the extraordinarily provocative Zimmerman Dispatch seeking to recruit Mexico into a war against America, which resembles many of the efforts of the Iranians and their sponsors in Moscow and Beijing, brought America into The Great War and doomed the Central Powers.
