#1 This is really quite staggering. The African tribal rebels from western Sudan apparently are attacking the traditional Arab heartland south of Khartoum. Just four months ago this would have been unthinkable.

#3 The African tribal rebels were there long before any Arabs showed up. They are called Arabs because they originated in the Arabian pennsula.
