#2 Maybe folks in the Baltic states (and Ukraine, Poland, etc.) feel somewhat the same way about the 'colonists' that had been foisted on them in the past and then forced militarily to accept and then even submit to.

Not terribly unlike the current wave of 'colonist invasions' being forced onto the European, Scandinavian, US and Canadian folks, and then forced to accept and even submit to by the powers that be.

I wonder if we'll wait 100-200 years to do something about it, though.
