#3 Sounds like more harassment than anything else if there was no igniting mechanism. Maybe a case of somebody misplacing their pipe bomb like I misplace my car keys. I don’t know that praying to St Anthony to find a lost pipe bomb would be that effective. Maybe there is a different patron saint for pipe bombers.

Glad the person driving by was tuned in to potential pipe bomb attacks. If there was a parish school, perhaps there was an algebra test that someone hadn’t studied for.
