#1 PAC-3 is an expensive, complicated weapon. It's not a cost-effective way to deal with the sort of drones the houthis were using. It's only as good as the crews operating it.

#6 Patriots won't be shot at drones. They are for the ballistic missiles (remaining Iskanders and future Iranian SRBMs) and any cruise missiles the other SAMs and fighters missed.

And the Patriots will also be protected by short range air defense.

Giving a Patriot battery to Ukraine is a great way to transfer that tech to Russia and China.

#9 Given that most of the key components are by contract to be only of American origin, as much as the Russians or Chinese try, it'll take them a heap of technology to try to replicate. Given that both parties suffer with Q&A in the high end stuff, its not going to happen tomorrow.
