#2 An arrest is appropriate, but if the facts stand as reported, the lads performed a public service and a jury might well give them the Gary Plauche sentence (seven-year suspended sentence with five years' probation and 300 hours of community service for the shooting and received no prison time - Louisiana jury, 1984, Baton Rouge airport shooting.)

#7 Gonna be tough getting a jury on this on.
Plus, if they do time, everybody in the prison will treat them like heroes. Took Out The Trash!
I predict the DA offering some preposterous plea deal, to avoid jury nullification. (I does happen in Texas. "Yeah he's guilty, but we don't think he did anything wrong. Not Guilty.)
