#2 The more interesting thing the article left out is the EW and ELINT planes with the package. When Taiwan turned on its air defense radars, they were plotting them, the frequencies to jam and locations for missiles. It was a recon mission.

#3 Taiwan helped develop some of that EW stuff. I'd imagine the chinkese collected data was a mixed bag.
