There is a possible parallel to a religious act, performed during Hajj, which may have bearing here.

Remember: This incident follows an attack on a mosque in the city, allegedly carried out by an extreme left-wing group, that sparked outrage locally. The office attacked is the local office of the Left Party.

Look to Hajj for the answer, the Muslims believe they are innocent and being persecuted by the Left so it may follow that The story behind the stoning of Satan during Hajj is in play here.

Not a fact but rather a conjecture by this poster - Only the revenge seekers know the thought behind their actions.

Further I agree with some of the other statements by the above commenters --- Start getting use to these actions, it could well happen here and people like LA's Attorney George Gascon, will do nothing to stop this kind of lawlessness too.
