#2 I think between incentives and politics the statistics are so tortured it may be quite a while until something like real numbers can emerge.

As for the genius at large, we can but hope that he made a man's decision...thus surprising not only us but himself in the bargain and finally drilled a hole in his ankle to allow the sap to run out.

#6 I had Covid last December. It was not shat I would call pleasant. But I do have two underlaying conditions. Mostly it was like a bad chest cold. Within about a week i felt fine and was up and moving around pretty well three days after getting tested. I was probably diagnosed 4 or 5 days in.
