#2 Why is the Capitol Police under Congress anyway? Why does a speaker of the house (elected by a very small fraction of the population) have what amounts to a standing army?
And Congress should not have the power to exempt itself from anything.

#4 I am no lawyer, but it would appear the knowledge of the existence of such evidence and it's withholding by the gov't should be grounds for appeal of any related 6 Jan convictions. Perhaps that is why the legal process is progressing at such a snails pace. Why rush into an acquittal. Just inconvenience the detained as long as possible.

#5 It can't do that with Congress, because Congress has decided the Freedom of Information Act law is one that it doesn't need to follow.

What the heck laws do they follow? They ought to have to follow the same damn laws they make. That's the trouble with these elitists, they foster attitudes of superiority. No wonder people don't like them and their polls are in the dumper.
