Perhaps, just perhaps... they (like many Americans) have lost confidence in the process. Of course no one mentioned that in the article.

Mail-in, or even iPhone voting must become universal! These election workers have grandchildren. We must do it for the grandchildren.

#2 The author and The Hill certainly have a biased view of what happened during the 2020 election. Their sources used are left-wing. They seem to be no friends of Trump.

Why is there so much pushback on election reform and audits of the 2020 election. Why is there so much censorship and social media and in the MSM of anything to do with audits. Why have the affidavits reporting observed criminality with some election workers and other hijinks never been addressed? An honest accounting of Jan. 6 has not been done and probably won't be. The article didn't address any of this.

#5 An alternative explanation is the election workers in on the fix know how close they came to getting caught (you're not out of the woods yet, kiddies!) and do not want to risk a repeat performance.
