#4 Despite Fauci's word salad, it seems to me the salient point is that US tax money (with Fauci's knowledge and approval) went into one end of a Chinese pipeline and a bioweapon emerged at the other end. Talking about the exact intended purpose of the cash ignores the fact that cash has a serious tendency to be fungible.
