#2 I'll bet some of them did not contribute in any real way to the great ~~victory~~ in Afghanistan and instead the CIA owes them a good life in the free world somehow.

Perhaps we should not wait 50 years to extend recognition, assistance, and tribute to those who survived, risked their lives, and lost their country. My thanks to MAJ(Ret) Steve Schofield and SF Chapter 73 for leading the effort to finance and construct the memorial in Deland Park, Sheboygan, WI.

The ”making” of the Lao, Hmong and American Veterans Memorial

Feckless government bureaucrats did nothing. Aging US Veterans and private citizens designed, financed, and built the memorial.
