It now appears there was US government knowledge of the Wuhan goings on up to two years ago. Perhaps that is why Trump is no longer president. As you may recall, some of the earliest beltway anti-Trumpers were coming out of the intelligence community. Now that he is gone, all is quiet. Was Donald Trump kept in the dark, then removed for a reason, a precaution? Neither Biden or Harris will ever challenge the Chinese, a president Trump very likely would have.

The inevitable showdown with China may have been postponed.
