#7 Kids are going to miss their second year of camp because high altitude and mandatory mask is a stupid, dangerous combination.

In a lot of ways, camp is less outdoorsy for us; if we were city dwellers and this was the only chance for the kids to see stars, and next year is too old, I would be, shall I say, a bit pissed off.

It’s my understanding that she emigrated after university, Mike, while her family — who are normal European lefties — happily remained behind in Portugal, puzzled by her choice and her politics.
