I have long supported Guest visa workers path to citizenship. My Doc. is Christian-Egyptian.

But never Amnesty Citizenship for Illegally immigration. An never when we have Poor to Middle class Unemployment above 3%

Even then there must be clear rules.
To name a few:

Entered the USA legally.

Had NO Felonies here or nation of origin.

Paid US Taxes.

No Drug/Mental issues.

Paid their bills.

PRO-USA.

Reads, writes and speaks English.

Understands the US Government concept and the Bill Of Rights.

Never used the US Welfare system prior to citizenship and not for 5 years thereafter except in true clearly defined emergency situation.
