#1 ...Keep an eye on this. Back in the day, whenever the Authorities in that part of the world made an announcement about how impressive the harvest was going to be, it was usually a stinker.

#4 Global warming would actually help agriculture in places like the Ukraine and Russia.

I remember back in 1971 when Newsweek was predicting a coming Ice Age. Once sentence stood out for me: "A one degree drop in global temperature would eliminate all wheat growing in Canada." So what would a 1 degree rise in temperature mean?
