Some of us in the east believe it's all part of the long term globalist plan to minimalize America's influence on the world. But first you need to cripple America.

I believe they need to do this, before re-engineering the terms of international relations, so as to either give a few elites absolute command of sanctions, armadas and the combined coercive power of the western nations, or to dissolve it altogether.

America is still the tallest, loftiest edifice of raw power, seen as a protector of fledgling societies [bull in a china shop really] and an icon of what can be achieved by a superbly balanced military-industrial complex. Taking it apart, piece by piece; dismantling it and bringing it to the level of say, India - there are many people who stand to gain from this. Not the least of them are the globalist fanatics for whom the USA shall be a morale victory and the first domino to fall on the concept of nation states as sovereign entities. They have weaponized mobs, media, corrupt pols and judges very effectively so far, to commandeer and hijack the polity. The military is the next thing in sight. The Democrats are just tools who believe they can take support from these fanatics to preserve their power during their own short lifetimes. They're all expendable and cheap as shit for the globalLeft, the mercenary consortium of people committed to a differently ordered world. On the way to their utopia, the bastards have factored in mayhem and misery, but their theory insists it is all part of the antithesis before the synthesis.
