Miles Jackson, 27, died in the incident Monday at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville. Jackson had been taken to the hospital by Westerville police when he was discovered passed out in his vehicle...The Associated Press reports officers were searching Jackson in preparation for a custody exchange over the warrants. Jackson began to struggle with the two officers after one of them felt a gun, the video shows.

An officer can be seen using a stun gun on Jackson as they fall to the floor. Another offices tries to pull Jackson’s hands away from his waistband, but a shot is heard, reportedly from the gun in Jackson’s waistband.

The two officers took cover with guns drawn after the shot. The AP reports that the full video shows officers shouting for minutes at Jackson to raise his hands and put them on his head. An officer used a stun gun for a second time on Jackson, but another shot can be heard in the video. Officers then fired multiple shots at Jackson.
