#1 This was a problem throughout Trump's presidency. He could not find good, conservative people to appoint. People like, Barr, Bolton, Haley, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Coney-Barrett took the jobs and then stabbed him in the back.

The issues were sufficient to give guidance for future elections but there were no implications for the 2020 election? That doesn't make sense.

One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us. I respectfully dissent.”

By the way, CUck Roberts of course went along with the dismissal without writing a thing.
