You mean like those who were warned by someone in the rank and file that Muslims taking flight training ought to be looked at. I don't recall people being sacked or punished (other than the whistle blower) over that FU. You got to make examples. Just like you punish people who commit crimes, pour encourager les autres! Portland is a living example of doing exactly the opposite. Our senior FBI management is just another.

Not believing information and not acting is one thing, Procopius2k. Creating the incident, then lying about actors known to them in order to alter the political atmosphere is quite another.

They did create an incident by goading those Muslim shooters to go down to Texas to try to massacre the participants at Pamela Geller’s Draw Muhammed cartoon contest — the one where the off duty local policeman killed them both at a distance with his handgun, if I recall correctly (people here were very impressed with his shooting skills, so I am, too). But afterward the FBI did not try to tell us it was Jewish commandos just to give them a bad name.
