#1 My long-time hone county. It only flipped red recently, and not by all that much. One take-away is, the "blue voters move here and keep their voting habits" meme isn't a 100% thing. Also, the GOP swept the county row offices last election, and that only happened with blue voters staying at home or splitting their ticket.
When I was a newspaper reporter there in the early 80's, you could find more pictures of Kennedy and FDR than of Jesus in homes down in the Mon Valley. The death of the steel industry started there with Bethlehem's slow demise. Now those river towns look like Baltimore and not in a good way.
Anyhoo, 60,000 ballots is about 51% of the total GOP registered voters in Westmoreland County. I seriously doubt that many of them planned to vote by mail anyway. This, however, it an outstanding foot in the door for lawsuits that could hold up the announcement of who won PA on Nov.3
