#15 When I was a teen, once night we noticed the northern horizon was getting lighter and darker, almost pulsing. Unless the entire town of Bethel, OH was on a single dimmer switch, it was likely the aurora.

My brother-in-law called one of the local station's to check with their weather folks.

It got reported as "two guys in northern Kentucky saw a UFO".
