#3 According to the web, "The average lifespan for Alzheimer’s disease could range from nearly nine years for persons diagnosed at age 65 to approximately three years for persons diagnosed at age 90 years” Lifespan for Alzheimer's disease."

There are other forms of dementia. For example, frontotemporal dementia. This affects people at an earlier age than Alzheimers and patients seem to decline rapidly with often dramatic personality and cognitive changes.

The DNC seems to have a problem and be in denial. It could be a problem for the U.S. as well.
