#7 If you look at this from a certain deranged point of view, the Feds *are* the cause of the riots. Without the federal protective presence, the mostly peaceful rioters would have burned down the courthouse on day one. Having satisfied their lust to destroy this particular thing, the mostly peaceful rioters would move on to their next target and the Courthouse Riot would be over. QED

Some may say this is both stupid and a helluva way to run a society. To which I retort, "Well, yeah." But there are people who think like this. Oh, Hi Mr. Mayor!
