#1 Can you say 'conspiracy to violate civil rights' boys and girls. The Donks played this game in the South and elsewhere in the 20's though the '60s in the last century when it came to looking the other way when their muscle, the Klan, ran the local neighborhood.

* Patton was not involved in the Italian campaign after the slapping incident in Sicily. He would be sidelined till after Normandy. The Americans found someone else as 'competent' as the British had found for Gallipoli to carry that one out instead.

#5 It is often pointed out that the police are not able or required to stop crime, but are merely to address crimes committed. If "might get hurt" is the new bar, I suggest "Serve and Protect" be removed from squad cars, uniform patches, badges, letterhead and promotional materials, as it's false advertising.

#7 The people that were attacked, and had all the lawful permits mind you, should sue the city of Denver. And also tell them next time they will have their own armed security and will defend themselves against bodily harm with deadly force.
