#1 That 'digital divide' most likely doesn't include a giant big screen TV.

#2 Cause, I mean, you know, it's damn near impossible to virtually mop a floor over a dial up connection.

#7 Ah...innocents and deniers.

We are not talking about heavy traffic

Consider live video and audio from every student laptop as they chat with their friends, instructors or colleagues. ALL Wifi cellphones. Homebound movie streamers, broadcast TV accessed from the net, Pandora radio and tune sharing...perhaps geometric is a better term. Each household that had a single casual user now has 5 constant (2+2.5) with multiple simultaneous streams @5=50mbps.

10 pounds of feed in a 1 pound bag.

#8 /\ And every user demands 4K Ultra-High-Definition video and lossless Audio or they are going to stamp their feet and scream.

...Remember the Dial-Up modem days when downloading files meant you went to bed because it would take hours?
