2020 Myrtle Beach Bike Week Spring Rally will begin on Friday, May 8, and ends on Sunday, May 17. (If not cancelled due to common sense and good judgement)

Gov. McMaster taking precautions for an upcoming annual event? A significant number of MB residents schedule their vacation and leave town during bike week. Might not be an option this year.

#2 ...MB - the Redneck Rivera it may be, but it's one of my favorite places on the planet - has ordered all hotels/timeshares/whatever else people stay in to be closed and empty by Sunday the 27th. The bikers may be faced with very determined SCHP and MBPD at checkpoints telling them to turn around. (Have also heard that within a week or so, MB will officially announce that Bike Week has been cancelled, but the city's staying mum on that.)

#4 I'm told the beaches and walking paths have been closed in the Florida Palm Coast region--I don't know about other parts of Florida or if it is a statewide edict.
