#5 Oh it's lead, I don't live in California. My wife made me get some other stuff too, mostly because she realized Sam's ships and I could do some of the shopping from the rig.

We haven't gone crazy though, simply bought a little extra of stuff we normally buy so we have to go out less. 3 cases now in Fort Bend County.

#10 A bag (30 lbs) of rice, a bag of beans, a bag of onions and spices. Scrounge the pantry for variety. You're good for 60 days.

#11 I have putting 2 lbs. of dried peas, beans, rice in those empty plastic peanut bottles. Several years ago I got infested by some small moth that turned everything in my cupboard full of crawlies -- So Seal Up That Rice!

Indian pantry moths. They come over as eggs in the rice. Freezing kills them, so I’ve kept my rice in the freezer as a precaution every since I discovered the problem crawling across my kitchen ceiling, seeking new lands to conquer.

*shudder* I had to throw out everything in the pantry that wasn’t sealed in plastic, glass, or tin cans.
