#2 for the curious here's the Gang of 8 accounting for more than 75 percent of methamphetamine seized in the US in 2019:

DEA has identified eight major methamphetamine transportation hubs: the cities of

El Paso
Los Angeles
New Orleans
St. Louis

Spot the pattern?

Mexico: failed state, exporting its toxins to the US.

#5 I'm a bit surprised that a city in southern Minnesota wasn't on the list. I seem to recall the meth coming up on 35 then moving east to Chicago.

#7 Virtually all methamphetamine in the United States comes through major ports of entry along the Southwest Border and is transported by tractor trailers and personal vehicles along the nation’s highways to major transfer centers around the country. It is often found in poly-drug loads, alongside cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.

From the DEA website.

I thought most of the meth was made domestically.

#9 Denver is also a huge hub as it sits on a major north-south artery (I-25) and a major east-west (I-70) artery.
