#1 I cannot imagine being a police officer in NYC. You get yelled at, spit on, all kinds of disrespect - from the people, from the mayor, from the council, from the police bureaucracy.
Now, if you arrest someone, they are immediately released, with no bail.
Why would anyone want to be a police officer?
