#2 To me its a safety issue. Whether quick evacuation of the plane or dealing with another berserker on board, you really don't want the 'little old ' lady in the fry. However, since they have packed passengers in the tubes like so much cattle, it won't make much difference.

#3 The lady's had a helluva good run. Must have a lot of great stories.

Re her fitness to help in emergency situations, I'm not sure this lady has less steel in her spine than the flakes, snagglepuss-queers and fatsos the airlines hire as FAs these days.

In a tight labor market methinks they're best advised to hire her back.

#5 At that level of performance and pay multiple, I’d have moved her up to salaried management and set her to developing advanced level training courses, to share her hard-won knowledge and experience with the younger cohorts.
