#2 That is not because the people of America have grown incompetent, or their ambitions have waned. It's only because instituted systems of semantic hypocrisy have hijacked what was meant to be a Govt of the people, for the people and by the people. Now it's a system of regulations selectively serving and denying the people; biased, captive and fickle. The people themselves are nowhere in the picture anymore. Those who are, are cogs, not people.

That's just what I think, observing from a distance and a great cultural divide though.
