#3 Wait. So the court is actually ordering the spaying of a child molester, for whatever reasons, and you're complaining about precedence ? Can't this be taken as a 'per case basis' thing ? Sex-change allowed only for sex offenders ?

Isn't there another way to look at this, past the 'LGBTNation must not win' angle ? I'd pay an extra 1% tax for the gummint to turn every rapist into a fairy, if they have to keep them alive.

#10 IIRC, it's not so much the surgery as the continuing, lifelong hormone therapy that adds up.

On the other hand, a lot of transgenders end up committing suicide.
