#3 If the worst hit area was White Nile state in the south, there must have been very high water as the White Nile passed Khartoum/Omdurman. I'm surprised there wasn't more reporting previous to this.

#4 I thought Egypt and Sudan were ready to go to war against Ethiopia for building a dam (not yet complete) on it's segment of the Nile.

If the dam was up and running they wouldn't have these floods.... Just saying...
