#3 Trump is correct here, the official flagpole is for official countries flags only.

Gay pride does not represent any countries, but only represent a concept. Note the article said that the gay pride flag is not banned from being displayed elsewhere on the embassies ground.

#9 I fully support this. No flags that don't represent the whole of the United States should fly over our embassies (I would permit flags like the Navy flag on an event such as the Navy's birthday or something, because the Navy does represent the entirety of the United States, for example). Similarly, the US embassies shouldn't fly the largely white flag with a cross that represents Christianity in the eyes of many, or the Red Cross flag, or innumerable other widely recognized flags attached to causes that are not the national government of the United States (and federal government here in the states should follow the same rules, with exceptions for the state flags those buildings are located in).
