#3 The SPICE is actually a self-correcting guidance kit that consists of two parts. The 'glide' part and the 'track' part. It enables precise delivery of about 2000lbs. of explosive. Spiced munitions are more effective than standard EO (std telemetry guidance) as it coordinates in real time with an overhead sat and multiple sources to home in.
The bomb is a conventional GBU type explosive device, maximum supported for the spice 2000 is 2000lbs.

Very simple ordnance married to hi-tech. But simple is enough in this part of the world, when you have intent. The bombing of the Balakot terror school saw about 300 jihadi casualties in one night. Which was a first for a country like India.
