#1 a dozen or so well meaning people in the biz have attempted to get Waters out of his little anti Israel cult but each has failed

btw, no surprise that Waters has no trouble keeping a facebook page

#2 I was a big Floyd fan and a psychologist could spend years dissecting the lyrics about insanity (all attributed to Syd Barrett's mental Health issues of course, not Waters, but you know...).

The father killed at the Anzio bridgehead which General Waters deemed unnecessary, to the mocking attitude towards the condolence letter sent to his mother. it's not a difficult leap to guess where is anti-semitism grew after that.

#9 He's a star. He doesn't really have to believe in anything to be vocal about it. Like Angelina Jolie and Ben Afleck and Deniro, they all have axes to grind, sometimes they're coming from so petty reasons we'd be surprised.

#10 It's pretty clear that Waters was traumatized by his father's death in WWII. But now, instead of honoring his father's sacrifice, it seems Waters would have preferred to appease the Nazis just like he wants Israelis to appease Palestinians who want nothing more than to kill Jews.

It's a shame. In their early years, Pink Floyd music was grand, soaring and astounding like nothing that anybody had ever heard. Waters was a great bass player and after Syd Barrett's departure he wrote most of the band's songs. But a great deal of the band's success must also be attributed to his band mates who were also excellent musicians. After a while it seemed that Water's lyrics were always on the subjects of war and madness and it grew tiresome.

Then, like a lot of big stars, his ego compelled him to leave his band. His solo career was a flop. On his own, he was not a good enough singer and musician. His BDS advocacy is tedious, annoying and above all arrogant. He spends his time telling other artists not to perform in Israel as if he has some kind of authority when in reality he is nothing more than a miserable old has been.
