#7 I see this as an attempt to increase the percentage of rent able to be extracted from the economy.
I'd have no problem with this if this was a citizens dividend (i.e no guaranteed sum) funded by property title value tax (i.e. not on the building). But one based on taxing incomes to fund something to boost incomes (which are then taxed more) smacks of trying to shift more wealth into rent.
