#1 Sort of like Reid eliminating the old Senate rules to get Obama's nominees onto the courts. Now they whine and cry about the Trunks doing it. If they want to politicize DOJ as a weapon, they'll regret the day someone on the other side has no problem using it on them. They'll whine of course. However, when real truth and justice are subordinated to the pursuit of power, sow and ye shall reap.

#2 Using the criminal justice system as a political weapon? It was honed to a fine art during the last administration. It would seem that malfeasance of office and abuse of power are already illegal. Maybe it's just a matter of having the will to prosecute. During the last administration the AG was basically a door stop for trying to do anything. Everything was stopped there.
