#2 Drug dealer versus corrupt Mexican cops? If Mr. Garcia (or Esquivel Garcia, if he is following the Mexican styling) really is a drug dealer, I find it hard to work up excitement over either party. Though it’s useful to know things haven’t much changed since badanov was following events south of the border.

It must be noted that it’s difficult to extort anything from a dead man beyond what was in his pockets, a failure of imagination on the part of decorated intelligence officers.

#3 Esquivel lived for a time in La Joya, Texas, where he went to school and was arrested by the LJISD police in 2010 on drug charges and escaping from law enforcement.

Perhaps not a native Texan? Not that it matters to the crime he suffered.
