#2 Little background on bank terms.

Banks can choose what entitles grounds for closure of an account. At my bank, you cannot open or use a business account for pr0n, gambling or marijuana business. There is a clause in the personal accounts that states the bank may close it for any reason it deems fit. This is one of the catch all ones that they have used when a customer comes in and acts really weird and slightly threatening. The bank can close the account and mail the check to the former customer.

Legally, the bank can sever ties with a customer that might put it in a bad light as well and that seems what Chase did.

However... They are doing little more than helping de-people him and de-platform him and in my opinion are helping the regressive left deprive him of his first amendment rights. There are laws in place that prevent banks from doing this on the basis of race or sex and it may be time to throw political leanings in there as well.

#4 My experience during the Berkeley battles was that the Proud Boys conducted themselves honorably. This past April 15 was the 2 year anniversary of the 2nd Battle of Berkeley. With 2020 around the corner, I'm keeping my gear handy.

#5 This seems the perfect timing for someone to open a savings & loan or a credit union — which will also provide evidence for that Justice department investigation or class action suit.

#9 Wells Fargo actually refused to de-account 2A Firms. They have enough bad rep on their plate (N.B.: I bank there and haven't had any problems in 30+ years)

If a bank is making political decisions on banking (other than criminal transactions) perhaps the FDIC shouldn't insure their deposits? See how fast Chase folds, drops to their knees, performs a s3x act

#10 Darth -- based on the comments from Marcel Smith, I suspect an errant employee taking "justice" in their own hands. A formal policy or "acting weird" decision would create a paper trail, but he couldn't find one.
