#1 holysmalokey, morning national news actually found Nebraska.

See a convoy of trucks hauling hay and supplies, give'em a lane, a honk, and a wave - they've been at it for a week unheralded.

#2 Local news saying high waters starting to get to Kansas City via Missouri River. Ready down stream y'all; of course not only high water but debris.

#5 Governor Cat Lady of Kansas more interested in finding an alternative name for Columbus Day than lifting truck hauling restrictions and clearing a path to Nebraska.

Oh, I see, gotta prep for the Kansas National Guard parade at the Statehouse tomorrow.

#6 Well most of SAC's OFFUTT AFB is under water (You know the place with the hole to fight a nuke war from.) and there is a desperate effort to sandbag Ft. Calhon Nuke Reactor on the Missouri. Of course it's FLY OVER COUNTRY so when the spent core settling/cooling ponds are flooded to overflowing and make the Missouri River radioactive down to Kansas City neither coast nor it's Democratic population could give a damn.
Hell CNN will cheer a radioactive heartland.

#10 Becker said the water at the plant was 899.75 feet above sea level Monday morning and declining. If it reaches 901.5 feet, NPPD said it would take the station offline as a protective measure.

The 770-megawatt (MW) Cooper plant, near Brownville, Nebraska, was built at 903 feet above sea level, which is 13 feet above natural grade, NPPD said.
