So many immigrants don't earn the roughly £30000 per year to break even.

Subsidies for their employers and landlords at the rest of the country's expense.

In addition to that, you have no idea what you're getting into by jumping into some street ruckus. Is it a domestic dispute gone public? A buddy in the cop biz says domestic disputes tend ugly because both parties end up fighting with you.

Is the perp armed or on drugs? Either one skews the game and not in your favor. All in all, without some kind of training, a lot of risk to take for someone you don't know. It pains me to say this, but chivalry was killed off some time ago. Hell, guys have gotten yelled at for opening a door for a woman.
