#1 guessing that the 'Syrian Arab Army' is no more than 40% Syrian at this point

the actual casualties suffered by this Army may be even less than 40% as much of the front line are, per various sources, Shia recruits from Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.
