#1 So, "Democratic Socialists are teh real racists!"?

People on the right have been using variations of this argument for decades now. Has it actually accomplished anything? The sad reality is that a large number (majority?) of minorities will be happy to take whatever Free Shit is on offer and if costs white taxpayers in the bargain, than so much the better.

No surprise that this is a Conor Friedersdorf article.

It's about living in the real, and not a fantasy, world. As regards the results: Trump got the working class, and to hell with the "credentialed" who will stick with Democrats to keep their phony-baloney jobs.
