#2 The first two UN Peacekeeping missions were UNTSO to monitor Arab-Iraeli ceasefire in 1948 and UNMOGIP to monitor India-Pakistan ceasefire in Kashmir in 1948. 70 years later neither problem has been solved and an argument could be made that having Peacekeepers there actually elongates problems by limiting the larger power and allowing the smaller power to attack knowing they won't be crushed as they would without peacekeepers.

Then their is the UN Peacekeepers rape problem that keep popping up...

Perhaps we should rethink Peacekeepers entirely.
