#3 Paleo hunger strikes have been commonplace since about 2005 or so.

IMO, the Israelis should let the prisoners know that not eating will kill them and then, if the prisoners don't eat, let them martyr themselves. The UN can be given advanced warning and if anybody wants to join the Paleos in prison, let them in.

#6 After the 24 hours ultimatum deadline passes, they will escalate the threat:
"If Israel does not meet the prisoner's demands, All Hamas leaders will join the Hunger strike (at least during the month of Ramadan)".
Israel's Response : " we are all breathlessly waiting to see Haled Mashaal loose a few kilograms, please continue your valiant efforts until all of you meet the 70 virgins(Registered trademark)
