#2 The problem with nice shiney (or even old rusty) hammers is they are fun to carry, look at and show your friends but just to validate your budget, it actually must be used.

Does anybody really think the G. could survive world opinion should they hammer a place smaller and more primitive than Iceland?

Been pretty effective in Syria, eh?

#5 NK is a challenge. They are dangerous - mainly because of nukes, unpredictable - because of Kim, and desperate. Then throw in the China relationship. Damned if we act against them, damned if we don't. But being more prepared than in 1950 is certainly worthwhile.
