#1 He should stick to finance. It's what he knows.

#2 He is not being excellent to Trump.

#3 Just because Trump didn't call him to ask his sage advice?

#4 The GOPe is the defensive team for the Great Beltway Party.

As in football you have an offense and you have a defense. While the two don't play together they always have the same goal to beat the other team.

The Democrats play offense and the RINOs play defense so it's not surprising to see this really.

#5 Interesting dynamic playing out here. So a traditional conservative mocks Trump and it instantaneously triggers 'DC Whispers' and the rest of DJT online synchophants to go into attack mode. Mr. Bannon's strategy appears to push back against the right every bit as hard as detractors from the left.

#6 @#5: Hey, thanks! I now have another adjective to put in my resume.

Seriously, however, it is one thing to have differences with someone (which I have many with our now Cic, fyi.) but quite another to be disrespectful about it, especially on a respected news program.

How, again, did it work out when Mr. Obama was described in similar terms. Syncophantly?

#7 I thought Stein was dead. I guess just his career is dead.

#8 The three tiers of Trumpkin: Bacchantic,
Those quaffing the Kool-Aid; Romantic,
A little bit thinner,
But still a nice dinner;
Subsisting on smoke, Sycophantic.

#10 Ben Stein is a genuine American loving Republican.

However, he is definitely of the old guard and it remains to be seen if he will have relevancy in the new Republican order.

Ben Stein is a genuine American loving Republican.

Which is why he objects to putting Americans ahead of the subjects of failed states?
